The Divine Sequence:
Restoring the Whole Person

Jesus didn’t just preach; He healed and taught because the body is the temple of the mind. At Mentone, we follow His blueprint of practical service—a sequence of love and healing that prepares the heart to receive God’s final message of truth.

1. A Desire to mingle

Jesus didn't stay behind walls; He went where the people were. It is our sincere desire to mingle with our Mentone neighbors as those who truly wish them well, building genuine friendships in the places where life happens

2. A Commitment to sympathy

Every person carries a unique burden. We seek to listen first and show true sympathy, recognizing that a compassionate heart is the first step toward any kind of healing.

3. Ministering to practical needs

Through our Depression & Anxiety Recovery programs, Wellness Seminars, and Community Meals, we strive to meet people at their point of physical and emotional need. We believe this is "The Gospel in Practice.

4. Growing together

We serve because we care about your well-being, not because we have an agenda. By being consistent and unselfish in our support, we hope to grow a bond of mutual respect and trust that lasts a lifetime.

Why the sequence matters

In harmony with the message of Revelation 14:6-7, we believe that honoring God with our bodies is a vital part of "giving Him glory." Following this sequence ensures that our message is consistent: we serve because we love, and we love because He first loved us.

"Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, 'Follow Me.'" — Ellen G. White
