Turn the Conversation to Spiritual Topics

Turn the conversation to spiritual topics by looking for ways to link what they are saying with a related spiritual topic, weaving spirituality through what you are saying, especially topics related to our need for God.

Begin with the familiar, then move to the spiritual.

Transition the conversation from casual needs (physical comforts) to critical needs (relationships) to crucial needs (the spiritual):
Move from water to water of life  (John 4)
Empty marriage to empty walk with God 
Desire for family to desire for fellowship with God 
Empty career to emptiness of this life
Physical disease and cure to disease of sin and cure (Matthew 9)

The purest example of unselfishness is now to be shown by our medical missionary workers. With the knowledge and experience gained by practical work, they are to go out to give treatments to the sick. As they go from house to house, they will find access to many hearts.
