GLOW at Mentone: For May, let’s share Spanish tracts and titles that focus on the Sabbath as a memorial. On the third Sabbath, we invite members to share their own GLOW testimony. Member testimonies can either be shared in person or written down and shared by the GLOW team. Please contact Nathalia Rasman at 951-796-4948 or nathaliarasman@yahoo.com.
Discipleship Handbook: This week we completed the section on our devotional life with a focus on family worship. See the Discipleship blog for more resources to build the family altar, as described in chapter 6.
Prayer Request: Please pray for brother Miller Mendes and the rest of the AWR team as they prepare to leave for Ukraine on May 5-8 for a 3-week evangelistic series in 38 countries and at 1500 Evangelistic sites!
Mentone Women’s Ministry is presenting a Ladies luncheon on Sunday, June 4 at 1 p.m. There will be a wonderful program and live music for your enjoyment and blessing. Please RSVP to: 909-362-6572 no later than May 20.
Music camp is coming to Mentone June 11-17. Registration is open. Check it out at https://www.iymcsda.org/mentone.

The more we contemplate the character of Christ, and the more we experience of His saving power, the more keenly shall we realize our own weakness and imperfection, and the more earnestly shall we look to Him as our strength and our Redeemer. We have no power in ourselves to cleanse the soul temple from its defilement; but as we repent of our sins against God, and seek pardon through the merits of Christ, He will impart that faith which works by love and purifies the heart. By faith in Christ and obedience to the law of God we may be sanctified, and thus obtain a fitness for the society of holy angels and the white-robed redeemed ones in the kingdom of glory. – {SL 83.2}
