May 25: The Restoration of the Sight

May 25: The Restoration of the Sight

Scripture: "But his eyes were opened, and he saw everything clearly." — Mark 8:25

Jesus healed a blind man in "two stages." First, the man saw "men like trees walking." Then, after the "second touch," he saw "everything clearly." This is the "Plan B" of "Progressive Vision." God doesn't always "reveal everything" at once. He often "restores our sight" in "stages" of "increasing Truth."

The "Truth of Progressive Light" is that "the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day." We are in a "Plan B" of "Continuous Learning." God "guides us" into "All Truth" as we are "able to bear it." This is the "Patience of Love" in "Education."

"Seeing clearly" requires "submission" to the "Second Touch." Sometimes we "stop" after the "first touch" and think we "see it all." But God has "more Light" for us. We must "stay at His feet" and "wait for the clarity." This is the "Plan B" of "Lifelong Spiritual Growth."

Don't be "frustrated" if you only "see men like trees walking" today. Don't settle for "partial sight." Seek the "Second Touch" of the Spirit. Let the "Truth" "shine ever brighter" in your "life." You are being "guided" into the "Perfect Day."

Reflection Questions:
In what area of "Truth" do I only "see partially" right now?
Am I "open" to the "Second Touch" (more Light) from God?
How can I "practice patience" as God "restores my sight"?
